After subjecting a friend to countless pictures of my latest vintage muse and obsession, I decided to do the right thing and blog about Noir Ohio Vintage. Since 2005, this South West Ohio vintage gem has been selling one of a kind pieces all over the world. Lead buyer Maggie Leadman's passion for vintage began with a quilted Chanel bag spotted at a thrift store in Dayton and she has since continued her love affair with all things vintage. Where do designers find inspiration? I stumbled upon this rather comical TED Talk with fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi on his thoughts on fashion, creativity and our rather curious obsession with people watching. It's an interesting glimpse on the design process and the random ways in which day to day moments offer a wealth of inspiration and I have to agree, I don't think following a stranger with good shoes is odd at all!
